Heston Kids is a project about growing up in London through the focus of Sade’s cousin Kyra and a documentation of South Asian identity. Over the past two years Sade has been following Kyra, photographing changes in her appearances, relationships and interests. The project focuses on the transitional phase of breaking away from childhood into adolescence and aims to subvert traditional representations of South Asian women.
